Numbers and English

Interesting facts about numbers don’t always involve math or finance. They also offer fascinating quirks in language. For example, there are infinitely many prime numbers, as proven by the ancient mathematician Euclid (one of my favorite mathematicians along with Gauss). However, there is only one prime number, that when spelled out in English, does not have the letter ‘e’ in it. Stumped? I’ll get you started, here are the first 5 prime numbers:
· Two
· Three
· Seven
· Eleven
· Thirteen
Thanks to my friend William for this. He gave me a book on numbers as a gift and this was mentioned in it. I just hope I’m not expected to reciprocate, like giving him a present on his birthday. I don’t even know when his birthday is.
I want to know and I have no clue 😵💫
