Veteran's Day

In 1971 I was a bitter, disillusioned, depressed young man when Uncle Sam said he needed me to work for him. Now with 40 years of perspective and a little more maturity let me say:

Thank you Uncle – for the cool haircut and stylish wardrobe; for the 2 all-expense paid trips to the Philippines and the GI Bill; but mostly for the life experience and the people whose friendship I will value for life.
